This beautiful, sandstone porcelain dripper is handcrafted by artisans using a traditional method from Hasami, Japan. The Kalita Wave 185 dripper is an essential accessory for pour over coffee. Durable, Versatile, consistent, and super simple to use. It’s takes the guesswork out of a pour over. The flat-bottom coffee bed geometry, patented "Wave" filter, and three-hole design work together to provide an even extraction that makes brewing a perfect cup accessible and easy.
The Hasamiyaki method – meaning Hasami porcelain – method, a traditional porcelain crafting method that originates four centuries ago in the Hasami town, Nagasaki prefecture. Hasamiyaki uses Amakusa Touseki,a potter's stone from Amakusa, Kumamoto. This SG "Sagan (Sandstone in Japanese)" dripper blends warm-colored sandstone and Amakusa Touseki potter's stone to create this beautifully natural dripper. Each is handcrafted by experienced artisans, and the level of craftsmanship is exhibited by its quality.
